Perhaps I need to set a midi OUT on Kontakt to the record to the instrument track but it is already inserted. KONTAKT 6 PLAYER is a free application that runs all Native Instruments KONTAKT. I can see the track is red in the timeline and the notes being added. I go into record and play along with the tune. Kontakt loads, lets me load various instruments and libraries and plays with my connected keyboard. I have found something works well but for some reason the midi data is not being saved. I Bought NI Komplete 10 Ultimate a few years ago and never really used it but I loaded Kontakt in the 'instrument' or 1st slot in the channel and set about exploring some sounds.

Lets say I have a stereo sample loaded into Kontakt 2.1, if I play that sample and pan it to the right in the Kontakt intrument, I will see the Kontakt meters showing the sound is playing but no meters are showing in Acid and no sound is being produced. The problem is that when I load my NI Kontakt 2.1 in I only get the left channel of the sample, however that left channel plays through both L/R of Acid.
